UCHC prescribes pain medications to well-insured patients, not OHP patients!

Just reviewed the records of an applicant and see that UCHC is practicing discriminatory pain management. They claim to follow guidelines and tell chronic back pain patients that they don’t prescribe pain medications for such conditions. But in reality their records show that they do. They just do it for patients with better insurance! If you have Oregon Health Plan, you don’t get pain medications. So get a better insurance and they WILL prescribe for you, even when your x-rays show minimal degenerative changes. They won’t even require you to go to physical therapy or see the orthopedic doctor for an evaluation to get your medications. And to top it all off, you won’t even have to sign a pain agreement or do drug testing! What a deal!
